It is unable to be put into words, come see for yourself.
What about ....
- The soothing sounds of a nearby creek that can be heard from right off the deck.
- Fishing galore! That trophy fish awaits. Lake Roosevelt is host to two Walleye Tournaments annually or you can fish in any of the bountiful creeks and lakes within easy distance.
- Golf in any one of the area courses.
- Experience the rich cultural and the historic relevance of the region ranging from Native American habitation through to fur trading, logging and Gold rush and Industrial revolution.
- Seclusion, despite the actual location our cabins are nestled quietly outside of town, beside a national recreation area and a national forest, so it doesn’t take much to get the feeling you are a little secluded.
- Spectacular mountain scenery.
- Scenic drives just taking in the region for a day (or just part of the day ... if time is limited).
- Lakes, rivers, creeks, and numerous recreation areas for boats and floats of all sizes.
- Wildlife everywhere: deer, moose, bear, cougar, eagles, turkeys, grouse, etc., (there is even a Blue Moose on the property).
- Hiking on miles of trails, some just out the door from each cabin.
- Canoeing-a-plenty, on small and large nearby lakes and rivers.
- Rafting or floating Kettle River, Colville River or even the lake itself and elsewhere.
- Shopping, fine dining and art and crafts can all be found only short drives in every direction.
- Grilling, BBQ or rocking and relaxing with a cup of coffee! How about eating s'mores from the campfire rings.
