Family Reunions
"Family reunions" might refer to a big occasion where a whole gang of extended families get together once in a long while. But another type of family gathering happens all the time: extended families - grandparents, and/or sibling families are getting together for vacations.
Think about it …. Grandma and grandpa haven't seen the kids in months. You haven't seen your siblings in nearly a year. The cousins hardly know each other anymore. But grandma doesn't want to cook and clean for everyone. And the kids don't want to spend a week sitting 
around grandma's condo with not much to do.
Reunions may be the chance for grandpa to teach his five-year-old grandson to fish, for grandma to tell her granddaughters all about her wedding, for brothers and sisters to trade career tips and to reminisce about childhood vacations, remember those family members that have been lost.

Blue Moose Cabins has often been the venue for bargain family reunions.
At Blue Moose Cabins families can meet for a long weekend, a week long vacation, Thanksgiving and Christmas gathering at one place. Our cabins can be available for individual families groups or (for the brave) having the kids bunk together or even simply having an escape for the grandparents. Its even possible to discuss options like tents on site and we even have limited RV electrical hookups (septic hookup not available onsite at present time). There is a central area ideal for plenty of heart-to-heart talks or sitting around the table early in the morning over coffee or late in the evening nursing that last glass of wine.
Many families have found Blue Moose Cabins and the area offers every member of their family something to do, enjoy, reminisce in a relaxing vacation environment.
One thing's everyone seems to notice: the memories of family reunions are worth every dollar spent and all the (sometimes burdensome) planning easier and as a bonus, when there's a big group and everyone's splitting the tab, reunions can even turn out to be a bargain. The adults can share the cooking chores and food costs.

Accomodation issues? ... here is one families solution
The Blue Moose Cabins does not need to be limited to the size of the family itself. With the cabins having beach access and mooring available. one family opted for an interesting twist to the issue of finding beds for the entire family.
They booked all of the cabins as a group booking, negotiated an additional fee for RV hookups for some of the family, some of the children were in tents, and then they arranged for the rest of the family to rent one of the houseboats available at the Marina.
