Our aim is to provide you with clean, comfortable, quality accommodations in a relaxing environment while still offering value for your money. We guarantee your satisfaction with Blue Moose Cabins when you arrive. If you are not happy with what you see then we will cheerfully refund your reservation deposit in full and assist you, to the best of our abilities, in finding alternative accommodations in the area.

Rates

The Cabins rent for $65.00 each per night, (for double occupancy).

Each additional adult (over 12 years of age) a $10 per person per night fee will be added,
Children under 3 years of age are free (as long as we have space available in the Cabin).

We also offer special rates for monthly rental, senior citizen, and corporate (upon request).

Although "walk-in" bookings are possible, our cabins are generally booked in advance. In order to avoid dissappointment we recommend that you reserve your accommodations in advance. Credit card information and confirmation is required 7 days prior to arrival (3 weeks during holiday periods), for other arrangements ask us. Reservations must be canceled 7 days prior to arrival, 3 weeks during holiday, hunting and peek seasons .

General

All the Blue Moose Cabins and the apartment are non-smoking. (The management respects the rights of smokers, but appreciates your choice not to in our cabins). We have provided facilities outdoor on the deck but also ask that you dispose of your cigarette butts thoughtfully.

Payment Terms

Sorry, No personal checks accepted. Balance is payable upon arrival via cash, traveler's check, money order, cashier's check or credit card. We do not advise anyone to provide credit card information over the internet. For your security, this information will be done in person or over the phone. Upon arrival guests must agree to the terms of, and sign, the Cabin Rental Agreement.

Holiday Weeks

Confirmation is required 3 weeks prior to your arrival during holiday periods. Cancellations will be accepted up to three weeks notice. Cancellations within three weeks are non refundable.

Holiday Periods Include:
Easter, Spring Break, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years

Check In Time

Our standard policy is that you may check into your cabin after 3 p.m., However, should you want to arrive early we will accommodate you as best as we can depending on previous guests and cleaning of the cabins. Please inform us if you plan to arrive late so we can accomodate you.

Check Out Time

Check out time is 11 a.m. so that we may clean and prepare the cabin for incoming guests. We would appreciate your assistance in allowing us time to clean and prepare the cabins to same standards we endeavored to provide you for the other guests.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given due to equipment failure, poor road conditions, inclement weather, or your early departure for any reason. We at Blue Moose Cabins take pride in providing comfortable accommodations with vacation conveniences, and will do everything possible to right any malfunctions.

Cancellation Policy

Your reservation is a binding agreement for rental and you are obligated for the dates you have reserved. Cancellation of your reservation 7 days or less (except for holiday or peak periods) prior to your arrival will be subject to forfeiture of deposit.

Pets

Due to the free roaming nature of the wildlife through the property officially, we try to have a no pet policy ... However, the number of people traveling with their pets and the additional precautions required by the potential harm to other guests who may have allergies BMC created an unofficial 'Pet Policy'. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Unofficial Pet Policy

Well behaved dogs and cats - We love them! We have two dogs and a cat ourselves.

We will welcome pets most of the time ... BUT we have a few basic rules and an additional charge per pet (talk to us).

We ask that:

1. 1. Most importantly, Please tell us you have a pet along with breed and size … “then we can advise other guests to avoid any conflicts”
   2. For the safety of other guests and their pets, your pet is to be leashed when outside … “Be a responsible pet owner … Please clean-up after your pet inside and out”.
   3. Never leave your pet unattended in your cabin. If you need to leave them in the cabin … “Please crate your pet”.
   4. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture ... “While our cleaning staff is very thorough, microscopic pet dander can cause irritation to other guests with allergies”.
   5. If your dog is a 'barker', please be considerate of other guests and never leave them to disturb others.
   6. As with our standard policy ANY damages will be added to your bill.

Internet Access

We are pleased to be able to offer our guests free hi-speed wireless internet connection (WiFi) in each of our cabins and the apartment for those guests who just cant escape the technology age (emails etc) during your stay. On arrival ask the management for the access 'WEP Key & password'

Damage Policies/Cleaning Fees

A minimum fee of $50 will be assessed if excessive cleaning is required. Guests are responsible for and required to pay for any damage done to the cabin and its contents.

Furnishings/Provisions

Each cabin has heat and air and furnished for your comfort with initial supplies provided. Paper goods may not sustain for your entire stay. Blue Moose Cabins cannot guarantee any mechanical appliances 100% of the time. If you have a problem, we will do our best to repair the malfunction as soon as possible, during business hours. Locked closets and/or rooms are reserved for storage or private use, and are not included in your rental. Guests must provide their own items for outside use such as picnicking or swimming. We are not responsible for items left in cabins. With your rental, you assume full responsibility for cabin security and its contents. Please secure the cabin anytime you leave during your stay. Descriptions, bed sizes, inventories, amenities and names are subject to change without notice.
